Thanet Press was born out of the ashes of one of the United Kingdoms great publishing names: Eyre and Spottiswoode.

Originally founded around 1770 by George Eyre and Andrew Spottiswoode, the company quickly developed info a major player within the printing industry.

Fast forward to the present and Thanet are still among the top ranking printers in the UK (as part of the W&G Baird Group); Technology has diminished the work force, and the Presses no longer rely directly on steam for power; but the companies focus on Quality and Customer Service moves from strength to strength.

We offer full reprographic services; excellent quality Printing and Binding (all in-house; which means that we can offer much faster turnarounds); and we also have our own in-house programming department who are happy to design and manage web sites; set catalogues from data lists and also look after your precious customer databases.

When the work is complete, we can handle all of your print distribution needs; whether mailing to a global customer base or bulk deliveries to your door.
